If the Divisions module is used to track equipment between different warehouses (in diff. countries), each Division represents a different location (country), and icons (flags) can be assigned to each Division.
These icons (flags) appear in the Object Manager, Toolbox and Objects Tree.
Toolbox > Settings > Dispatch Module: Track and Display Dispatching Between Divisions:
Shows the Check In box with the arrow pointing down in orange if the Object is checked into another Division than the User who is logged in to quickly indicate if the kit is available in house or at diff. location.
Toolbox > Settings > Class / Objects: When Allocating Object For Object Class Only Look For Objects That Has Its Dispatched Division matching The Booking Project: When creating an Object it’s possible to set the Division where it was created in/belongs to.
When using EMT to dispatch equipment through the different Divisions, the Object temporarily becomes part of another Division. This is reflected in the Dispatch Status, showing the client name with its “Target Division”.
Example: If ‘ HD Camera 1’ (belonging to the Object Class: HD Camera) has been created (added to the Object Manager) in Denmark and is dispatched to Sweden, it is then temporarily part of the available HD Camera Object Class in Sweden.
When a Booking is created on a Project with Division Denmark and the Object Class HD Camera is selected, farmerswife will now only look for those HD Cameras that have their Dispatched Status set to Denmark.
The ones that have been dispatched to Sweden (temporarily allocated there) won’t be taken into consideration.
Object Tree > Options > Always Sort Objects By Their Current Dispatched Division:
This option only shows up if the User has enabled in farmerswife Client > Toolbox > Settings > Display > Dispatch Status = Yes / checked. It will make it easier in the Object Tree to see all Objects belonging to a Division, as they will be sorted accordingly putting the Users’ Division first.
From version 7.1 onwards the view separators (added as Groupings in the Hourline View creation) will be respected. And the sorting of the flags will show the User's Division at the top.
Sort your view by Division
It is possible now to just click on a "Dispatched Division" flag to the right of each Object to toggle to that Dispatched Division, so the Object Tree only shows these Dispatched Division Objects and hides all the rest.
Once toggled (yellow mouse over - "Click To Solo View"), the Dispatched Division flags will appear at the top of the Object tree and a yellow warning triangle will indicate that this view is filtered by "Division", showing crossed out the flags of the Divisions that are currently not shown. By clicking on the flag, that is currently showing in Solo View, you release all Division filters.
You can also turn the filter off by clicking on the yellow triangle.
Use the option "Alt/Command Click To Remove" on a Dispatched Division to Remove this Division from the View. Simultaneously all Division flags will show at the right top of the Object Tree being crossed out the one that was clicked with "Alt/Command Click To Remove".
Once all flags have been removed at the right top of the Objects tree, the view shows all Objects again with all Dispatched Divisions).
Dispatch Statuses
The icon with the red flag pointing up shows that the item is out with a client, clicking on the arrows will bring up the Objects history (former Dispatch History).
The icon with the green arrow pointing down, shows that the items is checked in and in your Division.
The icon with the orange arrow pointing down, show that the items is checked in, but not in your Division.
From version 7.1 onwards a new status will show in the Object Manager, a yellow warning triangle that indicates that the item is overdue and not returned from a previous checkout. The same icons will show in the Object Manager and in the Toolbox > Objects tab.
