When grouping by "Week Number" in Financial Reports, any financial lines will be included if they have a start date that falls in the week(s) included in the report. Same goes for the "Month" grouping.
A Financial Line Date is:
- the date an Object is booked or added to a Time Report
- the date an Object is added as Extra to a Project
- the Date a Budget Detail is added to a Budget
If you have Bookings that go over a week (multi-day Bookings), the revenue will fall into the week/month group of where the start date of the booking is. Therefore, to get values distributed and allocated to the corresponding week/month totals, you need to activate a new setting added in version 6.6 to the Financial Reports window (under General Settings): "Force Bookings Into Separate Days". Make sure to click on the Save Settings button to get this option saved to your print template.

The Forecasted Revenue needs to be based on a Project View that you select in the "Project Settings" of the Template in the Financial Report window. Usually that is the "To Invoice View" as this is what you're going to invoice. This works best IF you invoice your actuals, meaning the bookings and extras you added to the Invoice View. In case that the "To Invoice View" contains your "Budget Details", it is recommended to use the separately setup "Actuals" view for the report.
